Dr.  Digna V. Datu, currently is the Hospital Director of St Camillus Medical Center in Pasig City and our leading OB-GYN. She first completed her College Degree majoring in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the Far Easter University - Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF), and later on her doctorate degree at the same institution in 1983.

Dr. Datu enjoys immersing herself in a good book to expand her knowledge and understanding. In addition to her love for reading, she also finds joy in watching TV shows and movies that are filled with comedy and romance. However, above all else, Dr. Datu holds a deep love for her family, friends, and the patients she interacts with daily.

  • First joined St. Camillus Medical Center on February of 2013 until May of 2019 where she accomplished great feats for the Hospital notably opening our Dialysis Center which still remains in operation to this day, as well as Rehabilitating 30 years’ worth of medical records.

  • Returned to St. Camillus Medical Center on April of 2022 until October of 2024, she served as the Chief Nurse once again. Commended for successfully managing, planning and directing the Nursing Services Division including its plan and activities, and adhering to the highest standards of care.

  • Attendance in various trainings and seminars related with mental health, neurology, family practices, legalities in medical records information, and many others.

  • She is also an avid and active member in Professional Societies.

  • Career at St. Camillus Medical Center began in 2020 upon getting a seat in the Department of Surgery

  • In 2023, he was appointed Chief of Clinics thanks to both his exceptional skills as a surgeon and in team management.

  • Earlier this year, Dr. Unarce assumed the role of head of the Operating Room (OR) management team at St. Camillus Medical Center.

  • He attended The University of Santo Tomas (UST) to pursue his studies in Medicine, graduating with Latin honor: bene meritus.

  • Served as Oh VP for the Philippine Society of General Surgery Residents from 2017-2018.

  • Experienced and well-versed in performing advanced laparoscopic procedures.

  • Currently an associate fellow of the American College of surgeons.

  • Local fellowship experience in both The Philippine Society of General Surgeons and Philippine College of Surgeons.
